Spiderweb

Sound and silence, light and darkness, Orderly repetition of successive elements – Rhythm; Be it in raindrops, in the change of seasons or in the geometric weaving of a spiderweb, each successive step leads you to the next step on the road. When you lose that rhythm you lose your way.

In 1984 NASA conducted an experiment. Marijuana, Benzedrine, Chloral Hydrate and Caffeine were administered to a group of garden spiders. The results are clear. Inefficient webs, lacking any order.

The disoriented spiders can’t defend their survival anymore. The rhythm has been lost, the heartbeat weakens and nature becomes vulnerable.
