Fragments – Wire over oil on wood

This piece was created as part of the commemorative exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution at the Chopo Museum in Mexico City. This piece speaks to the death that the revolution left behind as can be seen with the dead birds falling from the sky and the dead flowers.
